August Inspiration Projects With Jaya Raghuvanshi

Hello 2Crafty fans!

Hope you were inspired by the Design team's inspiring projects this month.
Today I too have a few layouts to share with you  all.
I love this picture of my hubby and so I decided to make a masculine page this time.

 Some close ups-

I chose the "Adventure" loopy font title for my page and covered it in black gesso.
I applied some gesso on the Interlocking grid Panel chippie and once it was dry I
 coloured it using watercolours.
I cut it into several pieces and arranged around my composition..

2Crafty Chippie pieces used-
Adventure loopy font
Interlocking grid pattern

Some close ups-

I chose the gorgeous Ava's frame and heat embossed it with shabby white embossing
enamel. I cut it up and rearranged it around my flower cluster.

I simply love the beautiful fonts released this year. You must check them out!
The "Cherish" title is from the Fine Word set 1 and I covered it in white acrylic paint.
The other chippies have been covered in white gesso and then watercoloured.

2 Crafty Chippies used-
Iron fence
Fine words set #1
Mini bicycles
Ava's Frames

I hope you were inspired .
See you next month!

Some August Inspiration
By Lisa Griffith

Hello 2 Crafty friends I have a couple of projects to show you today.
My first project is a light and dreamy layout.

I was in the mood to create something with an ultra feminine and
shabby chic look with lots of pink :)

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:

'Viney Page Frame'
'Thistle Shrub'
'Lavendar Shrub'

One of my absolute favourite 2 Crafty chipboards is the 'Viney Page Frame'.
I like to cut it up into long pieces. Here I stamped it lightly with brown ink after painting
with white Acrylic Paint.

As with the other chipboards I painted the title piece with white acrylic paint, and
then I brushed on some pink mist and then lastly I brushed the edges with brown ink.

My second project is an art journal spread.

For this project I painted my chipboards white and then randomly
 brushed them with brown ink.

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:

'Moroccan Panel'
'Sybill's Name Plate'
'ATC Words'

See you soon,
Lisa xo

August Layouts By Sandra Bernard

''A Wish Come True''

Hi 2crafty fans, I'm back today to share two layouts with you.

I loved this picture of my daughter, & it inspired me.
It's a old picture, but I'm still in love with it.

2Crafty products used...
A Wish Come True - title
Circle frame set
Dreamcatchers set
Spring flower Bunches set

I choose the ''Circle Frame'' to make a dreamcatcher frame. I used some
mica powder from Finnabair to add some color to it. I also added some
wire thread to fill the hole of the frame.

Then, I used also some mica powder on ''Dreamcatchers'' to get this kind of color.
I used the yellow and the blue one.

I also added some touches of gesso and water on my chipboards

On ''Spring flower Bunches'', I used some Finnabair metalic paint
in green to have another point of color.

My title ''A wish come true'' has been altered with gesso and a
few black ink splatters with water.

To finish, my flowers are also altered with some gesso and water.

My second layout is about my other daughter, I used my layout as a frame.

2Crafty products used...
Line words-goodtimes borders - title
Frame square border set
Circle lace panel
Foliage set 1

To altered my back ground, I used Rainbow colors from 13arts and water.

For my ''Frame square border'', I first used also rainbow color from 13arts
and I added some touches of metallic paint from Finnabair.

I altered the ''Circle lace panel'' also with metallic paint from Finnabair.

My ''Foliage set'' were altered by the same technique.

The tittle ''Remember from Line words -goodtimes borders'' has been
embossed with a brown color,  by leaving some empty spaces where I added
some Rainbow color from 13 arts to get some blue color.

I finished off by adding several drops of gesso and metalic paint from Finnabair.

I hope you have liked it... see you next month!

August Inspiration by Tiffany Solorio

Hi everyone.
I have a couple of  layouts to share with you today.

I embossed the chipboard and painted parts of it with some acrylic paint. I wanted a shabby look to this layout so I didn't do much to the chipboard.

2 Crafty chipboard used:
Corner thick vine
6"circle dot frames
Loopy Beautiful word

For my second project I created a mixed media piece.

Some of the chipboard is partly covered but you can still see parts peeking through. I covered the whole project with white gesso and then used some Prima color bloom sprays to color it. I used white embossing powder to alter the Today word. I then used a paper towel to pounce on some color to it.

Here are close ups of the chippe, they add such lovely texture.

2 Crafty chipboard used:
Circle lace panel
Hessian patch panels
 Corner Geneive
  Today-loopy font
